Gifts

We allowed Grace to open her birthday/christmas presents early because we will be leaving town next week, and we couldn't keep her from trying to get into them. She will now get to join us for some Rock Band with her new drums and musical instruments. She really was excited about that! She also recieved an interactive kitchen toy, a talking tea pot and cups, some socks, and some mocassin shoes. She really likes the tea pot too! We just can't believe that our little girl will be turning one on December 30th. One of the greatest gifts...was the gift of her birth last December. We love you Grace! Hope that you enjoy the pictures!

Advent Blessing

May everyone have a blessed advent as we await the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Babies Love Boxes

This picture says it all...babies love boxes!

Grace Marie

It is so amazing to look at your child and think to yourself, "She is the product of the love that my husband and I share!" How great a love that is! What a blessing! She is such a precious girl!

Grace and Daddy

Grace sure does love her daddy, and it is clear in all of these photos!

Early Presents

Grace sure was tickled to receive early presents this year from her Aunt and Uncle/ Godparents! She received some things that will work wonders in keeping her entertained in Church. One of which is a lovely soft Nativity book with movable angel, very cute! She also received another book on the Story of Christmas, an inspirational book with a carry handle perfect for taking to Church. My favorite was My Pocket Nativity, a perfect playful traveling companion. We are very thankful to have such wonderful Godparents for our child! They truly are wonderful role models for her! We love you, and again express our thanks for the gifts. We have already taken them to church with us.

We didn't remember a wookie being present at the Nativity, but upon opening we found out that it was St. Joseph.

Sticky Pig

Grace has a favorite toy and his name is Sticky Pig. Thanks to Grandma Gretencord, Sticky Pig has a happy home. The last time that Grandma G. came to visit she gave Grace a pink pig. Grace played with it happily. She carried that pig around everywhere. She especially enjoyed licking it. Eventually the pig grew dirty from all of the saliva, dirt, dust, and lent. So Daddy gave the pig a nice bath with lots of soap to clean him up. The pig was a new pig, shiny as could be. Except, the pig now was very sticky. So he became "Sticky Pig." Grace loves Sticky even more now. He travels everywhere. Daddy even found out that Sticky Pig sticks to the ceiling. He discovered this one day while throwing Sticky Pig up in the air. Daddy said that Sticky Pig stayed stuck to the ceiling in the living room for 30 minutes. He just stayed there staring back at him with a smiley face. Sticky Pig is the greatest! We all enjoy his company! Now, I bet that you would like one too...don't you?
